On Friday night, the Blues travel to Albania to face KF Vllaznia for their penultimate
champions group stage game.
The last time these two met on the 26th of October, Chelsea won by eight goals to
nil. Will they reach double digits this time?
KF Vllaznia have yet to get a point in this Champions’ League group, and this is a
vital game for them in order to be able to get points on the board. KF Vllaznia
currently sit top of the Albanian Women's National Championship. Having won nine
out of nine games, they are hoping to put that winning run into the European Cup.
With PSG (W) only three points behind Chelsea and having to play in the final game
of the group, this is a must win Chelsea in order to get one step closer in finishing
top of the table.
A Chelsea win, and a Real Madrid Femenino win, or draw will see Chelsea secure the top of the group and given them a comfortable cushion, looking ahead to the next round.
The Blues will begin their travel to Albania late Thursday afternoon, where they will
then start their final preparation for the match. We will see Friday night who will come
out on top of this European tie.
