The Dereham Deco Leaves for Rangers

Todd Cantwell departs Norwich City for Scottish giants Rangers for an undisclosed fee.

He joins Rangers who are currently 2nd behind by 9 points to their fierce rival Celtic and Rangers have recently hired a new manager in Michael Beale and will want to fight to the end of the season and also they are playing their Glasgow Rivals Celtic in the Scottish League Cup Final at Hampden.


Todd Cantwell departs the Canaries team after over 130 appearances and managed to leave with 2 Sky Bet Championship titles and he had some very memorable appearances against some of the Premier Leagues best such as his Penalty away at Tottenham in the FA Cup.

Todd Cantwell has fallen out of favour at Norwich over the past year after he fell out of the Daniel Farke team and he has struggled to get back into the squad ever since then making the odd 1 or 2 appearances. Nothing has been said for what has gone on behind the scene but Norwich fans will want to hear his side of the story.



Cantwell is a class footballer on his day playing in the midfield area he leaves and will hope to prove himself Infront of the Ibrox Crowd which includes the Rangers Ultras "Union Bears" he will want to put his woes behind him and prove the doubters wrong.


Todd was very well known for work in his local community weather that be in Dereham where he goes around in the Christmas period to visit fans with houses displaying yellow and green balloons. Also, he is known to make regular appearances when he and his teammates made visits to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital in order to put a smile on children and adults over the Christmas period.
