Who will be crowned Champions of the Scottish Women’s Premier League?

With three teams in the running, it will be a very tense final weekend.

The teams in contention to win the league are, Glasgow City, Rangers and Celtic.

Rangers will be facing Glasgow City at the Ibrox stadium on Sunday. On the other side of Glasgow, Celtic will be hosting 4th placed, Hearts at Celtic Park.

Scottish football is starting to grow and the crowds are expanding. With the chance to be played in the higher capacity stadiums, it will allow the league and teams to grow further.

A few weeks back Glasgow Celtic broke the Scottish women’s record, with an attendance of 9,553.

As it stands Glasgow City are currently top with 80 points and a plus 93 GD. So, they know if they can manage to get the three points at the Ibrox they will be the SWPL champions, but even a draw may not be enough if Celtic can also win due to the Greens superior GD.

Whilst Celtic are currently third, they will not feel like it's completely over just yet, as if the Rangers can beat Glasgow and the Greens can beat Hearts by more than Rangers beat Glasgow City, they will be crowned Champions.

Due to this, Celtics goal difference will be higher and so will their goals scored.

Coming into the last weekend all teams are currently in form, with them all winning 4 out of their last 5 matches in the league.

With the league only consisting of 6 teams, each team has to play each other 6 times over the season. Three being at home then three being away.

All three teams will be kicking off at 4:10pm on Sunday, with both games also being aired on TV through BBC and BBC iplayer.

With all three teams having a chance to be crowned Champions, who do you believe will finish top?
