WSL end of season predictions

With Arsenal 6 points off first place, is there still a chance they can be champions?

In the last 6 games, Arsenal have only won 2 against Aston Villa and Everton.

It hasn’t been hidden that Jonas Eidevall’s side have struggled with injuries this season. Long term injuries to both Beth Mead and Vivianne Miedema have caused many issues up front.

There was also a time where 4 defenders were injured for them, two being Leah Williamson and Rafaelle Souza.

With these injuries it was always going to be harder for them.

Chelsea have had an opposite season to Arsenal and struggled a lot at the start of the season but have now hit the form that everyone knows from them.

The Blues sit second with a point below and a game in hand over Manchester United.

Emma Hayes’ side have won 5 in their last 6 and the other game was a draw against Arsenal at the Emirates. If they keep this form up, they will finish top again this season.

The Blues’ have also scored the most goals this season, with 35 goals in 12 games.

Manchester City have definitely hit form at the right time, after beating Arsenal 1-0.

They are currently on a 12 game unbeaten run in the league. Going all the way back into September when they last lost.

The other side of Manchester, are on a nice unbeaten run themselves, as they have won 9 games in the league.

The Reds will be without Ella Toone for the next 3 games after being sent off against Spurs. These games consist of Leicester City, Chelsea and West Ham.

The Chelsea match is vital for the title race.

It will be a very entertaining run in to the final game. Who will come out on top and be champions of England?

Prediction

1. Chelsea

2. Man United

3. Arsenal

4. Man City
